I’m selling my beloved 2004 Red Toyota Corolla. It has been a fantastically reliable car, offering low running costs – a full tank of petrol costs roughly £60. The car recently passed its MOT on the 24th of July 2024, so it has a full 12 months of MOT left.
This little Toyota has a lot of life left in her and could be a fantastic car for the right person for many years to come. Toyota is a fantastic manufacturer and you can feel it. This car has felt simple, reliable, resilient and extremely effective in all travel scenarios.
Category N Status:
I want to be fully transparent – the car is a Category N due to an accident on 18th June 2023 – meaning there was Non Structural/cosmetic damage to the vehicle (as seen in pictures) but has flown through 2 MOTs since with no problem, and the mechanics have all advised it is safe and good to go. There are only two issues: the bumper was scuffed, and there is a very small crack in the chassis (see photo & video) This crack has been monitored closely since the accident and has not grown or caused any issues at all. The bumper is purely an aesthetic issue, which we haven’t worried about, but if you’d like to you could replace it, or do a bit of paint work.
This Corolla has been a trustworthy and economical car. If I weren’t leaving the country for travel, I would definitely keep her. I genuinely believe this car could be a great vehicle for someone who is happy to accept that it doesn’t look perfect – the only imperfection is the bumper – otherwise spotless.
