Firstly I would say this car has a suspected head gasket failure. It is pressurising the coolant system, the heating works fine, it drives very well and does not overheat. Firstly I would say this car has a suspected head gasket failure. It is pressurising the coolant system, the heating works fine, it drives very well and does not overheat. It does lose a little coolant, when I used it for work which is around 100 miles per week it would lose about 1/2 pint over the course of the week. I’ve used it to North Norfolk and back, a round trip of about 150 miles and it lost about the same but other than that it was fine. There is no sign of water in the oil but there is a slight indication of either oil or diesel in the coolant.I got this car with the intention of replacing my Volvo with it but unfortunately I just don’t like it. If I was going to keep it I’d do the Head Gasket because I think the car is well worth spending a bit of money on especially as it’s done less than 120,000 miles. Because I don’t like it I don’t really want to spend any money or time on it.Overall it’s in pretty good condition and aside from a few scratches here and there it hides it’s age very well, it’s also very well appointed for it’s age. The car is available to view and test drive on presentation of drivers licence and insurance, it is located just outside Framlingham in Suffolk. The car drives very well and will drive away although has a suspected head gasket issue. However, I wouldn’t advise driving it a long way in one go just in case. I will listen to offers but please don’t bother with really low-ball offers right at the start of the auction, if I’m going to accept an offer it’s far more likely that I’ll accept one towards the end of the auction.
