This is a great little car, really cheap to run, drives well, starts every time. It now needs a bit of work to keep it on the road and sadly we just don't have the time, space, or funds, forcing this reluctant sale.
We're hoping it will go onto a new loving home for a makeover, but could also be used for spares and repairs.

This is a great little car, really cheap to run, drives well, starts every time. It now needs a bit of work to keep it on the road and sadly we just don’t have the time, space, or funds, forcing this reluctant sale.
We’re hoping it will go onto a new loving home for a makeover, but could also be used for spares and repairs.
The car was recently serviced including new spark plugs. New exhaust back-box installed this year. New brake discs and pads last year. Also fixed/replaced last year: parking brake, nearside front suspension arm pin, offside rear seat belt anchorage strengthened
The engine light comes on and this gives error code P0420. We did plan on changing the catalytic converter but haven’t got around to it. There were 2 advisories from 2023 MOT – CV boot and front wheel bearing. We had planned to do this but did not get around to it.
We recently got the car checked at the garage and they have flagged up a rusty subframe and sill (see pics). We were considering swapping this ourselves (the part is quite cheap online) but we don’t have the time or space. Our local garage has advised this could cost £300-£500 to put right.
Other things to note: We had to cut a hole in the front grille to fix a broken bonnet catch but have a replacement grille ready to fit.Only 1 key that only works in drivers’ doorA/C not workingDent in rear left wheel arch (see image)
MOT runs out on 19th Sept so it can be driven away.
The car has a spare wheel.
Mileage is currently 163315 (we’re still using it until it’s sold so this may increase a little)
The car drives well – it’s a shame we don’t have the time, space or funds to fix it up for the next MOT.
